Join a leading organisation as a Data Architect, where you will have the opportunity to leverage modern cloud-based data services and tools, particularly within the Azure ecosystem. This role is crucial in shaping and enhancing our data architecture and governance frameworks.
Day-to-day of the role:

Develop and deliver robust data architecture solutions that support enterprise-wide transformational change.

Collaborate closely with professional teams in DDaT and Business to ensure high-quality results in data governance and modelling.

Utilise Microsoft technologies such as Power BI, Synapse, ADF, MS SQL Server, Azure Data Lake, Azure APIM, and Visual Studio to enhance data services.

Design and build effective data pipelines and warehousing solutions.

Engage in the Data community of practices, collaborating with experienced Data Architect colleagues.

Ensure technical integrity while balancing long-term planning with immediate data architecture needs.
Required Skills & Qualifications:

Proven leadership in digital, data, and technology sectors, with substantial experience in enterprise and technical architecture.

Strong background in developing and delivering data architecture.

Demonstrated ability to drive enterprise-wide data transformation at pace.

Proficient with Microsoft technologies and Azure cloud services.

Skilled in data management tools and data warehousing techniques.

Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate complex data architecture issues clearly.

Innovative approach to solving business and/or operational problems through digital, data, and technology solutions.

Experience in software development and application architecture, including open-source technologies and programming.

Familiarity with testing procedures and data pipeline design and construction.
