Our growing and award-winning client, who has seen considerable investment and growth within recent years is seeking an experienced
Business Development Manager
to join them on a permanent basis.
You will be selling the company's cutting-edge green technology into the commercial construction sector, and will work closely with the company director to forge the next phase of the company's scale-up.
Technical candidates with experience in roofing, construction, or green building technologies would suit this role well.
Base salary will be circa 40k with OTE taking you well above £55,000. Candidates will need to have access to their own vehicle for any travel (full expenses & mileage will be paid).
The Role:

Market research to identify nationwide opportunities, using Glenigan ABI leads and planning approvals.

Engage architectural practices to secure product specifications.

Produce ongoing social media content for LinkedIn to gain interest from potential clients, including issue of monthly bulletins to keep them interested.

Building relationships with potential customers within the roofing & construction industries.

Create technical proposals for projects.

Produce support materials with manufacturing partners for support in technical proposals.

Provide formal quotations, specification guidance and attend client meetings.
The Candidate:

Commercially focused, results oriented professional with the ability to build effective and profitable relationships.

Previous experience within the roofing / construction sector with an understanding of design.

Knowledge and experience of established modern manufacturing techniques.

Commercial Experience of developing international markets and business.

Strong IT literacy.
