Our client is looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to work on an ongoing contract. The work will primarily be on extensions within domestic properties.

Job Description:

• Conducting feasibility studies to estimate materials, time, and labour costs.
• Preparing, negotiating, and analysing costs for tenders and contracts.
• Coordinating work effort.
• Advising on legal and contractual issues.
• Valuing completed work and arranging for payments.
• Examining and reviewing construction plans and preparing quantity requirements.
• Liaising with site managers, clients, contractors, subcontractors, and stakeholders.
• Gathering and preparing reports, analyses, contracts, budgets, and risk assessments.

Personal Specification:

• Chartered Surveyor Degree Apprenticeship or equivalent
• Must hold Full UK Driving Licence and own transport
• Previous experience working in domestic properties
• Negotiable rate for either hourly rate or per price work
