We are looking for a Commercial Gas Engineer to join our team based in Hampshire on a full time, permanent basis. You will be responsible for both Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs across various MoD Sites. This includes working on a variety of tasks including servicing and testing gas appliances as well as installing and maintaining pipework in a range of buildings.

For this role you will be required to travel across a range of sites, so you will need hold a full driving license. Van and Fuel card will be provided

Key responsibilities (but not limited to):

• Maintain and service commercial gas boilers, ensuring compliance with safety regulations
• Replace gas meters and booster sets
• Servicing commercial hot water cylinders
• Maintain and repair gas systems across the site
• Diagnose and troubleshoot issues swiftly
• Review jobs and order materials to meet SLAs
• Collaborate with the Site Manager to complete and sign off job paperwork

Skills and Experience :

• Experience of working within a commercial environment as a gas engineer.
• Strong mechanical understanding that can be used to diagnose and resolves issues across the site
• Commercial Gas qualification (COCDN1) Is essential however, we will support you in obtaining any further certifications as required (CSGA1, CIGA1, COCN1 etc)
• Proficient in the use of power tools and hand tools relevant to the trade
• Good knowledge of commercial gas and heating systems
• Full UK driving licence
• Ability to pass Security Clearance to work on MoD site
