Electrical Improver

LRL are currently recruiting for an Electrical Improver, to help install AGL (Airfield Ground Lighting) in Manchester. Our client are experts in undertaking AGL design verification, installation and maintenance across the UK, predominantly in defence establishments and airports.

Job Purpose

· AGL and Electrical duties across various projects throughout the UK.

· You will initially be working at Manchester Airport and this particular project is expected to run for around 12-18 months

Key Responsibilities

· Assisting with the Completion of electrical works in accordance with current legislation and agreed scope of works.

· Assisting with the Installation of LV wiring systems

· Assisting with the Installation of AGL systems

· Cable Pulling

· Maintain a good knowledge of Health, Safety and Quality Management

Ideal Qualifications

· CSCS / JIB Card

· NVQ 3 Electrical Installation

· AM2

The ideal candidate will have the following experience, however full training will also be provided.

· Working in an Elctrical role for at least 3 years

· Experience of installing LV wiring systems

· Experience of installing containment

· Happy to pull cables

· Ability to plan and coordinate effectively

· Work outside in challenging conditions

· Clean DBS

· Clean Driving Licence

Working Schedule

· Predominantly nights (Sunday - Friday / 10pm - 6am)
