Our client, a well-established leader in the construction industry, are seeking a skilled professional to join their team as an Estimator. You will play a vital role in accurately estimating project opportunities and overseeing costings on projects.
Role and responsibilities
Breakdown costs include labour and materials
Liaise with suppliers on costs for upcoming projects and negotiate prices
Producing detailed pricing proposals and visualizations.
Working with Project Managers
Work with Site Managers to discuss any variations
Experience and expertise
Previous experience in an Estimating, Quantity Surveyor or Cost Management position
Experience in the construction industry would be beneficial
Strong understanding of quantifying and taking off materials.
Experience using an estimating software
A self-starter with strong problem-solving abilities.
