Position: Maintenance Manager

Working Hours: Monday - Friday 08:00-17:00

Salary: £21.55 p/h

Contract: Temporary with the opportunity to go permanent

We are seeking an enthusiastic Temporary Maintenance Manager to assist the Estate Manager in the provision of high-quality effective management services to the development.

Duties include (and may not be limited to);

  • The Maintenance Manager is expected to be flexible and undertake reasonable additional duties as required by the managing agent and client.
  • To be available for out-of-hours call-outs, responding to emergencies and ensuring appropriate actions are taken to resolve issues promptly.
  • To obtain, review, and compare quotations for services and goods, ensuring best value for the building.
  • To coordinate and delegate maintenance activities, including the effective dispatch of team members, planning of daily operations, and management of logistics such as staff allocation, materials, tools, and access requirements, ensuring resources are available and efficiently utilised
  • To demonstrate basic project management capability, supporting the planning, coordination, and delivery of maintenance works and small projects.
  • To produce clear and concise facilities management reports for the Estate Manager General Manager, highlighting issues, actions taken, and recommendations.
  • To ensure all documentation is stored, organised, and readily accessible for audits, inspections, and compliance purpose
