We are currently looking for a Policy and Decants Voids Manager in Greewnwich.

The Role:

• Line management of 6 Officers.
• Process all long-term voids, policy voids and fire damaged properties.
• Specifying works to be undertaken in properties assigned.
• Procurement - allocating work to in-house and contractors.
• Responsible for finance and budgeting and for cost control.
• Responsible for quality of work.
• Manage contractors, in-house labour, consultants and suppliers to facilitate high levels of service delivery (approx. 40-60).
• Manage customer satisfaction to high standards.

The Candidate:

• Experience of scheduling major works using the NHF SORs, tendering for works under public procurement rules, and progressing projects to completion.
• Experience, knowledge and understanding of all legislation and regulations applicable to building, repairs and refurbishment of houses and flats in social housing, CDM and construction specific H&S legislation.
• Minimum of 12 months recent experience in a similar role or context and ideally within a public sector organisation .
