Job Title: HR Director (Job Share – 2 Days Per Week)

Salary: up to £80k (pro rata) DOE

A renowned industrial developer with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality projects and fostering an outstanding workplace culture is seeking a HR Director on a job share basis (2 days per week) to help drive their people strategy and ensure a thriving, high-performance environment.
The Role:
This is an exciting opportunity for a senior HR professional to take on a strategic and hands-on role within the organisation. Reporting to the COO and working closely with the current HR Director and senior leadership, you will provide high-level HR expertise across the business, ensuring alignment with our company values and commercial objectives.
Key responsibilities include:
Leading and executing the HR strategy, ensuring alignment with business goals.
Partnering with the executive team to support organisational growth and transformation.
Overseeing all aspects of employee relations, talent acquisition, and retention strategies.
Driving performance management processes, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Managing and developing HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance and best practice.
Championing diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives across the business.
Advising on workforce planning and succession strategies.
Leading on key HR projects, including organisational change, culture initiatives, and leadership development.
Ensuring adherence to employment law and mitigating risks within the business.
Supporting leadership and line managers with coaching and development.
They are seeking a seasoned HR leader who has operated at HR Director or Head of People level within a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Key requirements:
The ideal candidate will have proven experience as an HR Director, Head of People, or an equivalent senior HR role, with strong strategic acumen and a hands-on approach. They should possess a deep understanding of employment law, compliance, and best practice HR policies, along with excellent leadership and influencing skills, a proactive and collaborative mindset, and experience in industrial, construction, or property sectors (desirable but not essential).
