About our client
Our client is a well-established commercial property management company operating across a prestigious mixed-use neighbourhood in the heart of central London. The portfolio spans over 500,000 sq ft and includes flagship retail, major office buildings, boutique F&B outlets, and residential accommodation. It's a dynamic, fast-paced environment with two significant new developments currently underway.
The role
As the Estate Manager, you'll be the senior operational lead on-site, responsible for delivering a consistently excellent management service across the full portfolio. You'll work closely with property and asset managers, a client family office, and a permanent on-site FM team of three, acting as the visible face of the neighbourhood for occupiers, contractors, and the wider community.
What you'll be doing

Leading and developing the on-site FM team and outsourced service partners, setting a culture of service excellence

Managing occupier relationships day to day, resolving queries proactively and attending occupier meetings

Overseeing building operations including PPM, repairs, inspections, and health and safety compliance

Managing and reconciling monthly operating budgets, service charge preparation, and quarterly variance reporting

Coordinating community engagement, events, and promotions across the neighbourhood

Supporting asset positioning strategies in collaboration with the property management and client teams
Skills and experience
Essential

Proven experience in a senior FM or estate management role within a commercial or mixed-use environment

Strong track record managing occupier relationships across a complex, multi-tenanted portfolio

Confident handling service charge budgets, financial reporting, and variance analysis

Sound knowledge of health and safety compliance and risk management

Natural communicator, comfortable operating at all levels from on-site teams to senior client stakeholders

Familiarity with customer experience or community engagement programmes

Exposure to mixed-use portfolios including retail, office, and residential
