Electrical Estimator - London

Salary: £60,000 - £70,000

An opportunity has arisen for an Electrical Estimator with an Electrical contracting background to join our client’s rapidly expanding Commercial division.

Our client is a Design & Build contractor with in-house electrical and fire & security divisions, specialising in fit out, refurbishment, furniture, moves, and maintenance.

You will be responsible for:

• Conduct site visits to develop scopes of work.
• Define technical requirements and project feasibility.
• Obtain quotations from wholesalers/subcontractors, ensuring compliance with project requirements.
• Produce detailed electrical tender bids ranging from £25k to £2m.
• Manage the tender process to maintain standards and meet deadlines.
• Attend mid and post-tender meetings and manage post-tender control.

What we are looking for:

• 3 years estimation experience, some knowledge also of estimating for fit out would be preferred.
• A relevant Construction degree or HND qualification.
• Excellent organisational and time management.
• Strong negotiation skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
