We are seeking a talented and experienced Denim and Casual Bottoms Designer to join our clients dynamic design team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing denim and casual bottoms, a keen eye for trends, and a passion for creating contemporary and innovative designs. This role requires a blend of creativity, technical expertise, and collaboration skills to bring the latest trends to life.

The Role:

• ?Design and develop denim and casual bottoms collections from concept to final product, including jeans, shorts, skirts, joggers, and chinos.
• ?Conduct trend research and analysis to stay ahead of market trends and consumer preferences
• ? ?Create mood boards, sketches, and detailed technical drawings to communicate with the factory.
• Select fabrics, washes, trims, and finishes to enhance the proto sample.
• ?Collaborate with the product development team to ensure designs are feasible.
• ?Work closely with our Far East development team to oversee the creation of prototypes and fit samples.

Skill Requirements:

• ?Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design.
• ?Minimum of 5 years of experience in denim and casual bottoms design.
• ?Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and CAD.
• ?Strong understanding of garment construction, fit, and finishing techniques.
• ?Excellent sketching and illustration skills.
• Knowledge of fabric properties, dyeing processes, and washing techniques.
• ?Ability to translate trends and consumer insights into commercially successful designs.
• ?Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• ?Detail-oriented with exceptional organisational and time-management skills.
• ?Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
