We are currently seeking an experienced Commercial Manager to join Transport for London (TfL). This is an exciting opportunity to lead complex procurement activities, work closely with senior stakeholders, and support the delivery of key commercial initiatives within a large and dynamic organisation.

• Contract: Temporary
• Contract duration: Until December 2026
• Location: London (SE10)
• Working Pattern: Hybrid
• Daily Rate: £388.10 PAYE OR £529.95 Umbrella
• Start Date: ASAP

Role Responsibilities:

• Lead complex end-to-end procurement and sourcing activities
• Develop procurement strategies and route-to-market approaches
• Manage tender processes, supplier evaluations and commercial recommendations
• Draft governance papers and support approval processes
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders across the organisation
• Apply market insight and commercial knowledge to support decision-making
• Identify opportunities to deliver value for money and commercial improvements
• Ensure procurement activity is delivered in line with relevant regulations and governance requirements

Required Experience:

• Strong public sector procurement experience
• Proven background in pre-contract procurement, tendering and evaluation
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and influencing skills
• Experience developing procurement strategies and sourcing approaches
• Strong commercial awareness and analytical capability

Desirable:

• SAP Ariba experience
• Knowledge of Services Contracts
• CIPS qualification
