The Role
Our client is seeking a driven and motivated
Recruitment Consultant
to join their busy construction desk, focusing on
blue collar roles
including labourers, groundworkers, tradespeople, and site staff.
This is a fast-paced, sales-driven position combining
business development
,
candidate sourcing
, and
account management
.
Key Responsibilities

Sourcing and placing blue collar construction workers into temporary and permanent roles

Developing new business through outbound calls, client visits, and networking
-
Managing and growing existing client relationships
-
Writing job adverts, screening, and interviewing candidates
-
Filling vacancies efficiently to meet client requirements

Building strong relationships with both clients and candidates
-
Managing bookings, compliance, and worker availability
-
Meeting and exceeding weekly and monthly targets
Requirements
-
Minimum 2 years’ experience within the construction sector (essential)

Previous recruitment or sales experience (highly advantageous)

Strong communication and relationship-building skills

Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment

Highly organised with strong attention to detail

Motivated, resilient, and ambitious

Full UK driving licence preferred
