Our client requires an Assistant Underwriter with some underwriting experience within renewable energy. The role and company has a flat structure with an entrepreneurial culture. Candidates may have underwriting or broking experience in property or renewable energy / power sectors and will need experience of slip placement and aggregate management. The current appetite is for onshore/offshore energy including hydrogen, conventional power, and construction projects (not operational power). The company has risk engineering and full claims authority and whilst not having a lead appetite, they can shape terms and conditions and focus on writing a profitable portfolio.
