This role is an excellent opportunity for a professional with experience in office fit-outs, refurbishments, rebuilds, and commercial and leisure projects. The ideal candidate will have a background in professional practice and a BSc in a construction-related field.
The Assistant Construction Project Manager Role
The Assistant Project Manager will be involved in various aspects of construction project management, including:

Developing design briefs and specifications.

Preparing detailed costings for projects.

Handling planning permission and Building Regulations approvals.

Coordinating the appointment of design teams and specialist consultants.

Ensuring full coordination of all contractors involved in projects.

Managing costs comprehensively throughout the project lifecycle.

Maintaining consistent liaison with clients.
-
Overseeing health and safety management, including safety reviews and audits.

Producing As Built and maintenance manuals.
The Assistant Construction Project Manager

Has a minimum of 2 years' experience in a professional practice (consultancy, design, or contractor).

Holds a BSc in Construction Management or a related industry.

Demonstrates strong organizational and coordination skills.

Exhibits excellent communication and team collaboration abilities.

Is proactive and capable of working on diverse construction projects.

Vision of achieving professional chartership (MRICS or MCIOB)
