HRGO Recruitment is working with an established engineering and systems integration business to recruit a Technical Planning Coordinator to support its EC&I Construction team.
The role will provide planning, coordination and administrative support to the Construction Manager, helping to coordinate a team of EC&I installers and commissioning engineers working across the UK.
You'll play a key role in ensuring projects are properly planned, resources are allocated effectively and site teams have the people, materials, documentation and support required to deliver safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities

Manage and maintain the construction resource planner, coordinating labour across upcoming projects.

Liaise with Project Managers and the Construction Manager regarding project requirements and mobilisation dates.

Identify resource clashes, labour shortages and potential delays.

Act as a key communication point between Construction and other departments.

Support site teams with project, material, documentation and logistical queries.

Coordinate and check weekly timesheets.

Chase outstanding RAMS, permits, FOAs, materials and documentation ahead of mobilisation.

Maintain training and competency records, including the EC&I training matrix.

Support workforce planning, project mobilisation and construction readiness.

Maintain accurate trackers, records and departmental reports.

Identify and escalate issues before they impact project delivery.
Skills & Experience
The ideal candidate will have:

Previous experience in a construction, engineering, EC&I, electrical or industrial environment.

Strong planning, organisational and administrative skills.

Excellent Microsoft Excel and general IT skills.

Experience coordinating people, resources or projects.
-
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.

Excellent attention to detail and record-keeping skills.

A proactive approach with the confidence to chase information and get things done.
Desirable
-
Experience within gas, utilities or industrial sectors.

Knowledge of EC&I construction.

Experience with resource planning, RAMS, permits or FOAs.

Experience maintaining training and competency records.

Familiarity with Procore, Aconex, MS Project or similar systems.
