Hydrovac Operator / Sweeper Operator

Wm Hamilton & Sons Ltd are looking for a reliable and hardworking Sweeper Operator to join our team.

Candidate will be on 18 ton R oad sweeping side of the business and train to become a Sweeper Operator .

Hours of work:

Monday to Friday
7:00am 6:00pm

Weekend working required every second weekend .

Role duties include:

• Learning how to operate road sweepers
• Carrying out sweeper work once trained and competent
• Daily vehicle checks and basic maintenance
• Completing job sheets and site paperwork
• Following site risk assessments and method statements
• Liaising professionally with site managers, clients and members of the public
• Keeping vehicles and equipment clean, safe and presentable

Requirements:

• HGV licence Class 2
• CSCS card/ Npors
• CPC license in date
• Willingness to learn both Hydrovac Operation and sweeping operations
• Strong awareness of health and safety
• Reliable, hardworking and flexible with overtime and weekend work
• Ability to work well as part of a team
• Good communication skills
• Ability to use phone/tablets/ app use and write clearly
• maintenance of the machine including Greasing
