£220 paid just for being on call during your standby week

The Role

You'll help keep Lancaster's parks, streets, beaches and public spaces looking their best.

Duties include:

• Grass cutting and grounds maintenance
• Hedge cutting and landscaping
• Street cleansing and litter management
• Graffiti removal
• Winter gritting and snow clearance
• Supporting community events and public spaces
• Driving council vehicles and operating equipment following training

What We're Looking For

• Full UK Driving Licence
• Experience in manual, outdoor, construction, maintenance or practical work
• Reliable, hardworking and willing to learn
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
• Flexible approach to evenings, weekends and standby duties
