Full job description

We are seeking an experienced and highly organised International Facilities Project Manager to lead a diverse portfolio of workplace and facilities projects across multiple European locations.

This is a varied and fast-paced role, responsible for the successful delivery of office relocations, refurbishments, fit-outs, workplace improvements and facilities operations. The successful candidate will oversee projects from concept through to completion, ensuring delivery on time, within budget and to a high standard while maintaining compliance with all relevant regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end office relocation, expansion, refurbishment and fit-out projects across international locations.
  • Source and coordinate new office premises, including lease negotiations and associated documentation.
  • Lead and coordinate cross-functional project teams, working closely with internal stakeholders, contractors, landlords and suppliers.
  • Conduct international site visits throughout project lifecycles, including pre-construction planning, fit-out supervision and final inspections.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety legislation, including fire safety, risk assessments and emergency procedures.
  • Manage building maintenance programmes, planned preventative maintenance schedules, security systems and access control.
  • Support day-to-day facilities operations and contribute to business continuity planning.
  • Prepare and manage project budgets, oversee procurement activities and negotiate supplier contracts.
  • Coordinate premises audits, maintain compliance records and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.
  • Provide support and guidance to facilities teams across multiple locations as required.

Person Specification

  • Proven experience in a Facilities Manager, Property Manager or Facilities Project Manager role.
  • Strong track record of delivering office relocations, refurbishments and fit-out projects from inception to completion.
  • Demonstrable project management experience with the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects.
  • Experience managing budgets, procurement processes and supplier relationships.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Good understanding of health and safety legislation and facilities compliance requirements.
  • Experience managing both planned and reactive maintenance activities.
  • Proactive, solutions-focused and able to work independently using initiative.
  • Flexible, resilient and adaptable, with a collaborative approach to problem-solving.
  • Willingness to travel internationally on a regular basis.
