This is an excellent opportunity to support learners in developing a broad range of practical construction skills, helping them gain the knowledge, confidence, and experience needed to progress into apprenticeships, further study, or employment within the construction industry.

• As a PMO Lecturer at Kidderminster College, you will:
• Deliver engaging and practical lessons across Level 1 and Level 2 construction programmes,
• Teach a range of vocational subjects including Plumbing, Tiling, Painting and Decorating, Slabbing, Plastering, Roofing, Carpentry, and Brickwork,
• Plan and prepare learning activities that meet curriculum and awarding body requirements,
• Support learners in developing practical skills, industry knowledge, and safe working practices,
• Assess learner progress and provide constructive feedback to support achievement,
• Create a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment within workshop and classroom settings.

• Experience within the construction industry across one or more relevant trades,
• A broad understanding of construction methods, materials, and health and safety practices,
• Strong practical, communication, and organisational skills,
• A passion for supporting and developing learners,
• A teaching qualification (or willingness to work towards one) is desirable,
• A valid or update-service DBS (or willingness to obtain one).
