Overview We are seeking a skilled and reliable CSCS Demo Operative to join our team for a short-term project in Kensington. This role involves working on-site for a duration of 2-4 weeks, focusing on soft strip demolition, clearing brickwork, and removing pipework. Responsibilities
- Perform soft strip demolition tasks as per project requirements.
- Clear and dispose of approximately 15 tons of brickwork safely and efficiently.
- Remove pipework and other materials as directed.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations on-site.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure project deadlines are met.
Qualifications
- Valid CSCS card (essential).
- Asbestos Awareness certification (essential).
- Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) (required).
- Previous experience in demolition or construction work is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of health and safety practices.
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment.
Day-to-Day
- Arrive on-site promptly and prepared with all necessary equipment.
- Conduct soft strip demolition tasks, including clearing brickwork and removing pipework.
- Safely handle and dispose of materials, ensuring compliance with site regulations.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth workflow.
