BMS Project Manager - Building Services

€90,000 - €100,000 + 10% annual bonus + 10% employer pension contribution

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced BMS Maintenance Manager to lead and develop a high-performing Building Management Systems (BMS) maintenance team in Dublin. This is a key leadership position responsible for ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and efficiency of critical building systems across a portfolio of commercial and/or industrial sites.

You will take ownership of the BMS maintenance strategy, oversee technical delivery, and drive continuous improvement across all control and automation systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the BMS maintenance team, providing technical guidance and leadership
• Oversee planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance activities
• Ensure optimal performance of HVAC, lighting, energy, and building automation systems
• Monitor system alarms, trends, and analytics to improve efficiency and reduce downtime
• Manage subcontractors and specialist service providers where required
• Develop and implement maintenance strategies and improvement plans
• Ensure compliance with health & safety and industry regulations
• Collaborate with facilities, engineering, and operations teams
• Manage budgets, reporting, and performance KPIs

Requirements

• Strong background in Building Management Systems (BMS) / Building Automation Systems
• Proven experience in a senior supervisory or management role within facilities or building services
• Strong understanding of HVAC systems, controls, and electrical/mechanical infrastructure
• Experience with major BMS platforms (e.g., Trend, Schneider, Siemens, or similar)
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• Strong problem-solving and analytical ability
• Relevant technical qualification in engineering, building services, or related field
