Elk Recruitment is on the lookout for a dedicated Quarry Supervisor to join our client's growing team based in Co. Kilkenny. If you're an experienced Quarry Supervisor looking to drive change in a fast-paced and innovative environment, this is the perfect role for you.

What's on Offer:

• 39hrs contract
• Annual Leave 22 days per year
• Monday - Thursday 8.00 am to 4:30 pm
• Friday - 8.00 am to 3:30 pm

Your new role includes:

• Ensure compliance with all relevant HSA legislation.
• Ensure compliance with Company health and safety systems / standards and best practices.
• Ensure that all work undertaken in the quarry is risk assessed and safe.
• Ensure that all accidents and incidents are reported, and fully investigated and corrective action taken as necessary.
• Ensuring that the quarry operates in the scope of any planning conditions.
• Supervision of General Operatives within the quarry.
• Labelling of blocks for Production.
• Quality control and stock control of blocks.
• Provide support to the Quarries Manager.
• Conscious of quarry cost management.

Experience you need:

• Experience in Quarry operations, and mobile heavy plant operations.
• Good people management skills to lead, guide and motivate quarry General Operatives
• Awareness of cost control and operation efficiencies
• Strong knowledge, experience and application of Health and Safety practices.
• Computer skills also required.
