Our client is looking to engage a temporary administrative resource to start as soon as possible, to support their project team during a particularly busy capital project phase.
Role Title: Temporary Project Administrator / Project Support
Duration: End of July 2026
Location: Ipswich Waterfront
Start Date: As soon as possible
Pat rate: £14.00 per hour
Role Overview:
We require a reliable and organised individual to provide administrative and coordination support to a project team delivering a large capital programme, alongside some smaller works. This role is critical in maintaining continuity and ensuring day-to-day project activities run smoothly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing and coordinating project emails and correspondence
- General administrative support to the project team
- Organising, filing, and maintaining project documentation
- Assisting with document control, including drawings and revisions
- Supporting the coordination and issuing of drawings and technical information
- Updating trackers, logs, and basic project records
- Assisting with meeting arrangements, minutes, and follow-ups
- Supporting smaller works administration as required
Skills & Experience Required:
- Previous experience in an administrative or project support role
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Comfortable managing emails, documents, and spreadsheets
- Basic understanding of document control processes (desirable, not essential)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)
- Ability to work independently and prioritise tasks
Profile:
We are open to candidates at a junior level, provided they are proactive, dependable, and quick to learn. Experience in construction, engineering, or project environments would be beneficial but is not essential.
