East of England Permanent | Full Time £46,803 - £53,919 per annum + Market Supplement Available

We are seeking an experienced and ambitious education leader to join a well-established Further Education provider in the East of England as Head of Built Environment .

This is a fantastic opportunity to lead a diverse curriculum area covering Built Environment programmes from Level 3 through to Higher Technical Qualifications, Apprenticeships and Degree-level provision. The successful candidate will play a key role in driving curriculum excellence, employer engagement, student achievement and staff development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the strategic and operational delivery of Built Environment programmes
  • Manage, develop and inspire teaching and support staff
  • Drive student achievement, retention and progression
  • Develop strong employer and industry partnerships
  • Support Apprenticeship, T Level, HTQ and Degree provision
  • Monitor curriculum performance and quality improvement plans
  • Contribute to curriculum planning and business growth initiatives

Essential Requirements

  • Relevant degree or professional qualification
  • Teaching qualification (Level 5 or equivalent)
  • Experience managing curriculum provision within education
  • Strong leadership and people management skills
  • Experience of student performance management and quality improvement
  • Understanding of current Built Environment industry developments
  • Strong stakeholder and employer engagement skills
