Clear. are currently partnering with a major international engineering contractor to appoint an experienced Mechanical Construction Manager for a high-profile pharmaceutical project in Charleroi .

This is an opportunity to join a long-established, highly respected engineering services organisation delivering complex projects across Europe. The company operates across mechanical, electrical, fire protection, off-site fabrication, technical support services, and specialist engineering solutions, with a strong reputation for quality and safety.

The Role

As Mechanical Construction Manager, you will take full ownership of mechanical site delivery, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards.

Key responsibilities include:

• Reviewing project scope and developing detailed construction strategies
• Supporting and managing project schedules, including 12-week lookaheads
• Reporting site progress and proactively highlighting risks / roadblocks to the Contracts Manager & Main Contractor
• Conducting regular safety and quality walks , ensuring close-out of actions
• Leading commissioning activities and ensuring timely issue resolution
• Managing supervisors and craft labour (up to 10 supervisors / 100 craft workers)
• Driving productivity, quality compliance, and commercial awareness on site

What We're Looking For

• Senior mechanical construction experience within pharmaceutical or data centre projects
• Proven ability to lead large site teams
• Strong piping knowledge and site delivery expertise
• Solid understanding of H&S, quality, and project scheduling
