Electrical Commissioning Engineer | Data Centre Construction | Europe

We're working with a market leading contractor who are seeking Electrical Commissioning Engineers to join Hyperscale Data Center projects across Europe

As an Electrical CX Engineer , you will be responsible for delivering the Electrical equipment commissioning deliverables. As part of the CX Team, you will be responsible for the quality delivery of projects & equipment, ensuring that all client specifications are met, through inspections & testing. You will work closely with the CX Lead as well as a multidisciplinary team of engineers and industry experts to deliver cutting-edge projects while ensuring that all client specifications are met.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Overseeing the company database for each project, ensuring it is kept up to date and accurate, which will essentially deliver the handover, testing & script documentation
• Liaise with the QA Team on handover documentation, system handover and tagging dates.
• Assist in the preparation and maintenance of the pre-commissioning and commissioning execution plans (including the schedule and the mobilization of personnel and equipment).
• Preparation of the pre-commissioning and commissioning procedures with the Specialist Vendor and suppliers.
• Review of the performance test procedures and of the operating manuals with the Vendor team.
• Execution of pre-commissioning, commissioning, and start-up.
• Supervision of the performance tests if required.
• Liaising with AP and Testing teams ahead of functional switching and energisations.
• Attend meetings with management and subcontractors as required.
• Travel required for Ireland and Mainland Europe site support where necessary.

Requirements:

• Strong expereince on systems such as: UPS,Busbar,Generators,Switchgears
• Experience on Data center projects is preffered but not essential
• 2-3+ Commissioning Expereince
• EU Passport
