Overview

We are seeking an experienced Allen Bradley PLC Engineer to join a growing team delivering advanced automation solutions within the data centre sector across Europe.

This is a remote-based role with extensive travel to sites across Europe, working on large-scale, mission-critical data centre projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, program, and commission Allen Bradley PLC systems (ControlLogix / CompactLogix)
• Develop and modify PLC code in line with project requirements
• Integrate PLC systems with SCADA, BMS, and other control platforms
• Support FAT/SAT, commissioning, and on-site testing across European projects
• Diagnose and resolve faults within automation systems
• Work closely with project teams, clients, and other engineering disciplines
• Produce and maintain technical documentation

Requirements

• Strong experience with Allen Bradley PLCs (ControlLogix / CompactLogix)
• Proficiency in Rockwell Automation software (Studio 5000 / RSLogix)
• Experience within data centres or critical infrastructure environments (highly desirable)
• Knowledge of industrial communication protocols (EtherNet/IP, Modbus, etc.)
• Experience integrating PLCs with SCADA systems
• Willingness to travel extensively across Europe
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Fluent in English (additional European languages beneficial)
