Now looking to hire an experienced Principal Architect who is a Registered Architect and has extensive experience working on aviation or transport projects. The holder of this position will be involved in the oversight and delivery of multiple projects across the region, coordinating the team efforts to ensure efficient and effective execution. The projects are highly recognized and often award-winning, offering transformative solutions for clients and end users in a developing location in the USA.

Role & Responsibilities

• Lead the technical direction of assigned projects, ensuring solutions align with program goals and design specifications
• Collaborate with project designers and managers to plan and execute work processes; oversee internal controls for project teams
• Supervise the development of contract documents, ensuring quality and consistency
• Advocate for the use of BIM and design technology standards, ensuring best practices and efficient team workflows
• Oversee coordination with sub-consultants, ensuring quality assurance and control throughout the project lifecycle
• Manage all aspects of project work planning, scheduling, and resource allocation
• Serve as a subject matter expert on large-scale architectural projects
• Promote firm culture and represent the company at industry events and conferences
• Contribute to the development of technical and delivery standards across the practice
• Foster client relationships and support business development efforts
• Mentor and provide guidance to early- and mid-career staff, including performance reviews, coaching, and career development
• Support recruitment, retention, and succession planning activities.

Required Skills & Experience

• Registered Architect is essential; NCARB and LEED AP are also desirable
• Strong Revit skills
• 10+ years of industry experience in aviation or transport
• Knowledge of building, accessibility and sustainability codes
• D&B experience and PMP are desirable
• Large-scale project management experience is desirable.
