Hue Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver to join their team in Hemel Hempstead.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate HGV Class 2 vehicles in line with company and legal requirements
• Complete multi-drop deliveries of construction materials
• Assist with loading and unloading vehicles when required
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects
• Maintain accurate records of driving hours and vehicle inspections
• Operate tachograph equipment in accordance with regulations
• Deliver excellent customer service at all times
• Comply with all health and safety procedures
• Undertake other reasonable duties within the business when required

Skills & Requirements

• HGV Category C Licence (essential)
• Valid CPC Qualification
• Digital Tachograph Card
• HIAB / ALLMI Certification (preferred)
• Good understanding of transport legislation and safety requirements
• Reliable, professional, and customer-focused approach

Working Hours

• 44.75 hours per week
• Monday to Friday: 06:45am – 4:15pm (including 1-hour unpaid break)
• Alternate Saturdays required (minimum 20 Saturdays per year)
• Additional weekday hours are accrued as Time Off in Lieu (TOIL), subject to management approval and workload requirements
• No overnight stays
