Reporting to the Managing Director, you will be responsible for:
Delivering management accounts and supporting multi-entity reporting, including consolidation of three businesses
Drafting statutory account packs and acting as the main point of contact for auditors
Overseeing P&L, adjustments, variance analysis, cost of sales, and detailed reporting on installations, materials, and labour
Managing the month-end process and providing meaningful reports to directors
Rolling up your sleeves to support a small finance team and get involved wherever needed
Managing fleet administration and supporting the wider office team
Bringing a strategic view while handling the day-to-day finance basics
Supporting future due diligence and getting the business ready for sale
What you will need:
Previous experience in a similar role (Financial Controller, Head of Finance, Finance Manager), ideally within construction, trade, or a related sector
Hands-on approach and willingness to get involved in all aspects of finance
Understanding of CIS, B2B and B2C environments, and a pragmatic approach to automation or AI platforms
Qualified or QBE
