We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Joiner to join our team on a live heritage restoration project. The role involves specialist joinery tasks including splicing repairs and working with UPVC window frames , requiring precision, attention to detail, and respect for the building's character and regulations.

• Carrying out splicing repairs on timber frames and window units.

• Working on the restoration and replacement of UPVC windows in line with heritage standards.

• Repairing, replacing, and fitting door and window components while preserving architectural integrity.

• Measuring, cutting, and assembling joinery components using hand and power tools.

• Interpreting technical drawings and specifications.

• Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and in keeping with the style and age of the building.

• Maintaining a clean and organised work area and complying with all health and safety regulations.

• Proven experience in heritage joinery or restoration projects.

• Skilled in splicing techniques and experienced with UPVC window fitting.

• Excellent craftsmanship and attention to detail.

• CSCS card (required).

• Own tools and PPE.

• Ability to work independently and within a team environment.

• Strong understanding of working on listed or heritage buildings (preferred).

• Competitive hourly rate: £23–£24 per hour , depending on experience.

• Long working hours: 08:00 – 18:00 , Monday to Friday.
