Our client is the UK’s established market leader in its field of metal products manufacture, supplying into the filtration, automotive, building & construction and general engineering sectors. With a keen focus on driving continuous improvement within their manufacturing area, they are seeking to appoint an experienced Production Team Leader who possesses both significant experience gained in a traditional manufacturing environment coupled with a strong focus on customer delivery.

As Production Team Leader you will:

• Manage a team on shift of up to 35 operators
• Supervise a production area incorporating approximately 25 machines
• Deliver effective set-up and production plans
• Take responsibility for Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost
• Lead on 5S improvements
• Take a customer-focused approach to all production activities
• Work a 3 shift system

As Production Team Leader, you will need:

• Experience gained in a traditional manufacturing environment
• A focus on delivery
• A desire to develop your team
• A genuine commitment to driving improvements
• Experience of production, quality, delivery, safety and cost management
• Experience managing the production process
• The ability to manage multiple workflows
• Good problem-solving skills
