Join our dynamic team at the School of Building Services, Health & Social Care, Construction, and Art as a full-time Lecturer in Health & Social Care. This role is crucial in delivering high-quality education to learners aged 16-19, preparing them for successful careers in the health and social care sector.
Day-to-day of the role:

Teach across the Level 3 T Level Technical Qualification in Health and BTEC Health and Social Care Levels 1, 2, and 3.

Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans that meet curriculum standards and the needs of learners at different stages of their education.

Assess student work, provide constructive feedback, and support students in achieving their learning outcomes.

Maintain up-to-date records of student progress and attendance.

Participate in curriculum development activities to ensure content is current and reflective of industry standards.

Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching practices and participate in professional development opportunities.
Required Skills & Qualifications:

Degree in Nursing or a related area, with current or recent clinical experience in the health/social care sector.

Experience in teaching or training, preferably within a relevant educational context.

If not already held, willingness to obtain a Level 5 teaching qualification recognised by the FE sector (support provided).

Strong organisational and communication skills, capable of managing diverse learning environments and promoting an inclusive classroom.
