Join our dynamic team at the School of Building Services, Health & Social Care, Construction, and Art as a full-time Lecturer in Health & Social Care. This role is crucial in delivering high-quality education to learners aged 16-19, preparing them for successful careers in the health and social care sector.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Teach across the Level 3 T Level Technical Qualification in Health and BTEC Health and Social Care Levels 1, 2, and 3.
  • Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans that meet curriculum standards and the needs of learners at different stages of their education.
  • Assess student work, provide constructive feedback, and support students in achieving their learning outcomes.
  • Maintain up-to-date records of student progress and attendance.
  • Participate in curriculum development activities to ensure content is current and reflective of industry standards.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching practices and participate in professional development opportunities.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Degree in Nursing or a related area, with current or recent clinical experience in the health/social care sector.
  • Experience in teaching or training, preferably within a relevant educational context.
  • If not already held, willingness to obtain a Level 5 teaching qualification recognised by the FE sector (support provided).
  • Strong organisational and communication skills, capable of managing diverse learning environments and promoting an inclusive classroom.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development and staying updated with the latest industry and educational trends.
