Reed is delighted to be partnering with a leading manufacturer in Halifax to recruit an Internal Sales Coordinator on a permanent basis. As a result of sustained growth and success, this exciting opportunity has arisen for a proactive and customer-focused individual to join their team. You will be at the heart of the business, coordinating sales activities, supporting customers, and helping to ensure their market-leading products continue to reach clients across the industry.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Prepare technical quotes and liaise with a diverse customer base across the UK and Europe, including architects and subcontractors.
• Handle sales enquiries promptly and effectively.
• Promote and understand our product offerings to enhance sales.
• Coordinate with internal departments such as Sales, Operations, Technical, Marketing, Finance, and Design to ensure seamless operations.
• Provide exceptional customer service through both proactive and reactive phone and email communications.
• Read and interpret construction drawings as needed.
• Serve as the internal point of contact for the External Sales Team.
• Occasionally travel within the UK and Europe to meet business needs.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Previous experience in Internal Sales.
• Background in the construction industry is highly beneficial.
• Strong customer service skills, with a personable and professional demeanor.
• Motivated and keen to learn.
• Proficiency in Microsoft programs.
• Experience with CRM Systems, ERP, and Sage Accounting is desirable but not essential.

Working Hours:

• Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• Holiday Entitlement:
• 25 days plus statutory bank holidays, totalling 33 days per annum.
