Assistant/Intermediate Quantity Surveyor - Healthcare Fit Out
Location: Halifax, West Yorkshire (Nationwide Travel Required)

My client is a Healthcare Fit-Out Company, based in Halifax, and they are looking for an Assistant or Intermediate Quantity Surveyor to join the team. They specialise in delivering high-quality fit-out projects in the healthcare sector, and are seeking someone who can bring energy, enthusiasm, and expertise to the growing company.

About the Role

• Travel: Nationwide travel required, but we offer flexible working hours to help maintain work-life balance.
• Stays Away: Only a handful of overnight stays per year, with accommodation provided.
• Compensation: Competitive salary of £30,000 - £50,000 (depending on experience) + company car.

What We’re Looking For

• A confident individual with an eye for detail and excellent numerical skills.
• A strong communicator who can liaise effectively with clients, subcontractors, and the project team.
• Someone with previous experience in quantity surveying, ideally in fit-out or construction (healthcare experience is a bonus!).
• Ambition to grow and develop within the role.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparing cost estimates, budgets, and valuations.
• Managing tender documents and negotiating with suppliers.
• Conducting on-site measurements and valuations.
• Reporting on project progress and managing variations.
