HAYLEY DEXIS are looking for a Warehouse Assistant (Occasional Class 2 Driver*) to join our well-established and expanding team based at our HQ Warehouse in Halesowen, West Midlands.

About the role:

As our Warehouse Assistant (Occasional Class 2 Driver*), you will be working in a busy warehouse environment, with occasional Class 2 driving jobs required both locally and nationally.

Working hours:

Monday to Friday, working 9am to 6pm (1-hour unpaid lunch break)

Includes 7 Saturday mornings per annum, working 4 hours from 8.30am to 12.30pm (breakfast provided!)

Opportunity for paid overtime when required

Key responsibilities as our Warehouse Assistant will include:

• Picking, checking and packing orders against picking notes ready for dispatch.
• Stock-checking.
• Receiving stock and checking delivery notes.
• Heavy lifting up to 25kg.
• Follow company safety procedures at all times.
• Forklift truck driving.
• *Occasional Class 2 driving as required (includes additional HGV payment).

Skills we're looking for in our Warehouse Assistant:

• Valid Class 2 driving licence (essential).
• FLT licence (desirable).
• Experience of working in a fast-paced warehouse environment (desirable).
• Team player.
• Good communication skills.
