Weston College is the regional provider for the Prison Education Framework (PEF) across the South West of England and is now seeking to recruit an outstanding and highly motivated Lecturer in Construction to join the team at HMP Guys Marsh.
This is a part-time role, working 32 hours per week.
We are pleased to now be able to offer a 'Golden Hello’ payment of up to £4,000 for any successful candidate for this position.

About HMP Guys Marsh
HMP Guys Marsh is an adult male, Category C, prison. The education department offers a diverse range of courses, including bricklaying, cleaning/waste management, construction, IT, multi-skills and PSD. HMP Guys Marsh runs accredited programmes on thinking skills, drug rehabilitation and anger management. A variety of work is available to residents, including laundry, kitchen, gym and industrial cleaning. Some of this work can result in recognised external qualifications. Fostering personal growth, a sense of self-worth and responsibility are some of the joys and challenges of working at HMP Guys Marsh.
