Caretaker Required – Primary School, Grimsby

Location: Grimsby
Start Date: ASAP
Contract: Temporary (with potential to become permanent)
Hours: 7-9am 3-5.30pm daily.

We are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking School Caretaker to join a friendly primary school in Grimsby on an immediate basis. This role offers an excellent opportunity to secure a long-term position, with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

• General tidying and upkeep of the school site
• Sweeping and maintaining outdoor and indoor areas
• Emptying bins and ensuring waste is disposed of correctly
• Carrying out routine checks of the premises to ensure safety and cleanliness
• Reporting any maintenance or health and safety concerns
• Supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the school site

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• A practical, hands-on approach to work
• Good attention to detail and a proactive attitude
• Ability to work independently and take initiative
• Reliability and punctuality
• Previous caretaker or site experience (desirable but not essential)
