Welfare Van Collection Point: Grange-over-Sands
Location of work: Newby Bridge, A590
Start Date: Sunday 14th September
Shift Time: 19:30 start (night shift)
Pay Rate: £14.57 per hour (paye adv)
Driver Hire Lancaster is currently recruiting for a Welfare Van Unit Driver based around Newby Bridge/ Grange-over Sands. Due to the work taking place on a work site,
you will need a CSCS card
to be successful in your application.
Role Responsibilities:
Collect welfare van from Grange-over-Sands depot
Drive the welfare van to site location (Newby Bridge)
Remain on-site during the shift to supervise welfare facilities (e.g., heating, seating, rest area)
Set up lighting on the unit while on-site
Keep the area clean, tidy, and secure throughout the shift
Return the unit

Ongoing Monday - Friday shifts (with occasional weekends available)
8 Week Contract
Finished early? Still paid for 8 hours!
✅ Requirements:
Full UK Driving Licence
Valid CSCS card
Reliable, punctual, and friendly attitude
This contract is commutable from Grange-over-Sands, Newby Bridge, Windermere, Kendal, Ulverston and other surrounding areas.
