Your new role
As a Section Foreman, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of highway schemes near Glasgow. You will manage site activities, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety. Your duties will include supervising site teams, coordinating with subcontractors and suppliers, and liaising with clients and stakeholders. You will also be responsible for monitoring progress, preparing reports, and addressing any issues that arise during construction.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Proven experience as a Section Foreman or in a similar role within the construction industry
• CSCS - Supervisors +
• SSSTS/SMSTS
• TWS
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
• A thorough understanding of health and safety regulations
• The ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines
• A valid driving license and willingness to travel to various sites
