As part of our AP team, you will help process, track, and record payments in an accurate, efficient, and timely manner. How you’ll support us on our mission to keep people safe and warm…

  • Creating and implementing effective payment strategies to optimise cash flow
  • Overseeing the payment run process to ensure timely and accurate payments
  • Executing and monitoring payment transfers
  • Reconciling and clearing unmatched invoices and receipts
  • Managing the clearing of open purchase orders
  • Closing AP Sub-Ledger
  • Coordinating accruals for receipts and invoices received
  • Performing various activities related to closing the AP sub-ledger
  • Ensuring accurate reconciliation of VAT and duty
  • Managing the reconciliation of Construction Industry Scheme (CIS) payments
  • Finalising awards and update performance scorecards
  • Creating/Managing detailed reports on spending and supplier performance
  • Generating management information reports
  • Regularly reviewing and update reports to ensure accuracy and relevance

What you’ll need

  • Proven experience in accounts payable or a similar finance role
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations
  • Proficiency in and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

We would prefer if you had relevant industry experience. However, if you don’t have all the qualifications, but think you have other applicable experience that would make you a good fit for the role, we would still love to hear from you.
