Civil Estimator

• Salary: £35,000 - £55,000 per year

Join our client as a Civil Estimator, where you will play a crucial role in supporting the preparation and securing of profitable work. This position is office-based and offers a dynamic environment where you will act as the principal point of contact throughout the tendering process.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Support the preparation of tenders, ensuring all bids are profitable and meet company standards.
• Act as the main point of contact for clients during the tender process, establishing clear communication and understanding of requirements.
• Collaborate with the bid team to communicate tender requirements and strategies.
• Manage multiple tender processes simultaneously, ensuring all deadlines are met.
• Utilise innovative methods and continuous improvement strategies to enhance the efficiency of the tendering process.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in civils estimating or quantity surveying.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of effectively interacting with clients and internal teams.
• Proficient in relevant software and tools used in estimating and tender preparation.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing demands.
