Groundworks Handyman – Finishing Works (Kerb Laying)

We’re looking for a skilled and reliable Groundworks Handyman to support our finishing teams, with a particular focus on kerb laying, edgings, and general externals . This is a great opportunity to join a long-term, fast-paced project where your craftsmanship and attention to detail make a real difference.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Carry out high-quality kerb laying, edgings, and finishing works




• Assist with block paving, slabs, footpaths, and general external works




• Read and understand basic drawings and follow site instructions accurately




• Support drainage finishing works where required (e.g., surrounds, backfilling, small adjustments)




• Ensure all work is completed to required levels, lines, and specifications




• Work safely around plant, machinery, and live services




• Maintain a clean, tidy, and well-organised work area




• Carry out basic daily checks on tools/equipment and report any issues promptly

Desirable Experience

• Strong background in groundworks, especially kerb and edging installation




• Experience with block paving, slabs, and finishing details




• Additional CPCS/NPORS tickets (Dumper, Roller, Telehandler, etc.)




• 5+ years experience in groundwork or external works




• Experience working as part of a productive, well-coordinated team
