The Role

As a Bid Writer, you will play a crucial role in our pre-construction team, crafting high-quality, compelling proposals that secure new business. Working closely with our bid, estimating, and business development teams, you will help shape winning submissions that align with client requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Writing, editing, and reviewing high-quality bid submissions

Collaborating with technical teams to develop persuasive content

Ensuring all bids align with client specifications and company strategy

Conducting market research to tailor proposals to the Scottish construction sector

Managing deadlines and maintaining a library of bid content

What We’re Looking For:

Construction Industry Knowledge – Strong understanding of the sector, key trends, and best practices

Bid Writing Experience – Proven experience in writing successful bids within construction or a related field

Local Market Expertise – Awareness of key players, opportunities, and challenges in Scotland’s central belt
