Job Title: Scaffolding Quantity Surveyor
Location: Enfield, UK
Salary: £30,000 - £60,000 (depending on experience)


Company Overview:


Our client, a reputable scaffolding and access services provider, is seeking an experienced Scaffolding Quantity Surveyor to join their dynamic team based near Enfield. Position Overview:


The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of the financial and contractual management of scaffolding projects. This role demands an individual with a stable career history and a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience. Candidates from a main contractor or construction company background are also highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities:


· Cost Management:


o Prepare and manage project budgets, ensuring costs are controlled and value is maximized.
o Conduct regular cost analysis and forecasting to ensure financial accuracy.


· Contract Administration:


o Manage subcontractor and client contracts, ensuring compliance with terms and conditions.
o Negotiate and manage variations, claims, and final accounts.


· Tendering and Estimation:


o Prepare detailed and accurate tenders and estimates for scaffolding projects.
o Analyse and evaluate subcontractor quotations to ensure competitiveness and compliance.


· Project Coordination

o Liaise with project managers and site teams to ensure financial aspects are aligned with project schedules.
o Provide regular financial reports and updates to senior management.


· Risk Management:


o Identify and mitigate financial and contractual risks associated with projects.
o Ensure all project activities adhere to industry standards and regulatory requirements.


Qualifications and Experience:


· A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the scaffolding or construction industry.
· Strong understanding of scaffolding project requirements and industry standards.
· Proven experience in managing project budgets, cost analysis, and financial reporting.
· Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
· Proficiency in relevant software and tools (e.g., MS Excel, cost management software).
· Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
· Relevant qualifications in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
