We are looking to recruit an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join our team based in our Office in Chingford, London, E4 8TD.

About the Role

As an Assistant Quantity Surveyor, you willassistwith the day-to-day financial control,reportingand commercial performance management of a refurbishmentcontract mainly, withthe overall contract being a Planned Works Contract.

Within the role, you willassistthe lead Quantity Surveyor with cash management, includingtimelyapplication / certification / invoicing / payment and careful administration of subcontract accounts.

About You

Werelooking for candidates who have knowledge and understanding of measurement and valuation.Youllalso have a good understanding of budgets and forecast management, CVRs and supplementary financial reports and final accounts. We are also looking fora good levelof competency in IT systems and packages.

The ideal candidate will alsopossess:

Experience working with a Social Housing Tier 1 Principal Contractor

Experience in working as an Assistant Quantity Surveyor role

Essential Qualifications:

Minimum Level 4 (or working towards) in Quantity Surveying, Construction, Commercial or equivalent

CSCS Card Red or working towards
