Key Responsibilities:

Assess plans, specifications, and site works to ensure compliance with
Building Regulations
and associated legislation.

Conduct site inspections at all stages of construction to monitor compliance with safety, accessibility, and energy efficiency standards.

Provide expert advice to developers, contractors, and residents on building control matters.

Investigate and resolve dangerous structures, demolitions, and unauthorised works to safeguard public safety.

Ensure high-quality service delivery by liaising with stakeholders, including architects, engineers, and other professionals.

Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation for building control decisions and inspections.
About You:

Qualified Professional:
Degree or equivalent in building surveying, construction, or a related field. Membership of a relevant professional body (e.g., RICS, CABE, or CIOB) is desirable.

Strong knowledge of Building Regulations, building standards, and associated legislation.

Proven experience inspecting works and managing a range of construction projects.
