An excellent opportunity, inside IR35, has arisen for a skilled, immediately available Section Engineer, to be involved on the construction of a major industrial project.
Key Responsibilities:
Carry out setting out and produce accurate as-built records
Support the coordination of materials, equipment, and workforce on site
Deliver clear and timely updates on project progress and performance
Prepare and manage quality assurance documentation including ITPs, inspections, NCRs, and TQs
Maintain site diaries and project records
Assist with weekly planning and performance tracking (KPIs)
Contribute to safety documentation including RAMS, temporary works briefs, permits, and incident reports
Oversee weekly commercial reporting including waste management
Reconcile labour and plant usage
Candidate Requirements:
Degree or diploma in Civil Engineering (BSc/HND/HNC); working towards MICE or IStructE membership is a plus
Valid CSCS card and SMSTS or SSSTS certification
Proficient in BIM systems on large-scale projects
Recent experience working on major industrial schemes (e.g. power stations, nuclear facilities, oil & gas) with Tier 1 UK contractors
